IBWE

Since 1990 the International Business Weekend has been taking place in a different country. Participants and organizers are the students of the IPBS schools in the USA, Ireland, England, Spain, Italy, Mexico, France and Germany.

Students represent their universities in different disciplines. There are sports as well as collecting of donations, different cultural activities and trips to sights close to the hosting place. Furthermore, companies present themselves on a fair where workshops and interviews are offered. Students therefore have the wonderful opportunity to get into contact with companies, alumni and fellow students while celebrating in a relaxed atmosphere.

Aim of every university is to win the main trophy, the Coupe d´Ambience. For this, activities of students and rankings in sports competitions will be evaluated by a jury. 

The IBWE department in cooperation with different departments is responsible for the organisation of the IBWE for the students of the ESB Business School.

Main tasks of the department are the transport organisation for all students to and from the country where the event takes place, the planning and implementation of a concept of donations, the organisation of merchandising as well as other different administrative tasks.
