1. Lecture halls and computer rooms

ESB Business School is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art hardware and software systems in lecture halls, computer rooms and laboratories (operations management programmes).

1.1.          Lecture halls

All lecture halls of ESB are equipped with projectors and WLAN, so multimedia-assisted teaching forms are possible.

Moreover, ESB Business School has several media rooms, equipped as follows:

1.2.          PC-Inseln

ESB students can use 7 computer rooms with a total of 130 PCs.

Equipment:

  • PC with 1 -3 GB RAM
  • Graphics board, processor, HD according to processor level (Pentium4, 3MHz - Pentium DualCore and AMD processors)
  • DVD drives with DVD burner

2.   Technical and IT labs

The Operations Management programmes run several labs where student can work on topics from logistics and production.

2.1.          Information and communication technology lab

In these labs the students in the production and logistics programmes can familiarize themselves with the basics and with production and logistics-specific technologies.

2.2.          Logistik-Labor

In these labs the students in the production and logistics programmes can familiarize themselves with the basics and with production and logistics-specific technologies.

2.3.          Virtual Collaborative Engineering (VCE) Labor

In the VCE lab, the application of modern tools of the Digital Factory is studied in-depth. The whole engineering process from product development to factory planning is dealt with. Virtual Reality (VR) tools are also used here by  spatially separated teams e.g. Virtual Collaborative Engineering (VCE). At the moment the lab is being equipped with a powerwall with immersive VR.

  • 2 planning tables with 50" Plasma screens with Touchscreen and one PC each with Dual-Core-processors and 4GB RAM
  • 10 HP-Laptops with 15" LCD, Dual-Core-processors with integrated WebCams (sponsored by HP)
