Application requirements
The application requirement for the bachelor-programme in Production Management is either:
- The general university entrance exam or university entry exam for a defined set of subjects only or
- entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences or
- another university entrance qualification
For entrance qualifications acquired outside Germany a certificate of adequacy of the qualification indicating the average grade issued by the ministry for education and sports Baden Württemberg is needed.
Each semester 42 places are available in the programme BSc in Production Management.
The places are assigned based on the following criteria:
- the average grade of the university entrance exam
- the result of the specific study aptitude test for production management
Application Deadlines
The following deadlines are relevant for applying in the BSc programme Production Management:
- summer semester (March – August): 15 January
- winter semester (September - February): 15 July
By 15 January or, respectively, 15 July at the latest all necessary documents must have been handed in to the admissions office at Reutlingen University.

Study aptitude test
Applicants for the bachelor programme can take a voluntary specific study aptitude test.
This is a written exam where the individual study-specific skills and the motivation for studying will be measured. Here skills are tested which are of great importance for studying industrial engineering in the programme “Production Management” at Reutlingen University.
For the admission decision both your average grade in your university entrance exam and the result of the specific study aptitude test will be taken into account.
By participating in the test you can only improve your chance for a place to study, you cannot impair them. So take this opportunity and participate in the specific study aptitude test.
