The Career Center assists students and graduates at ESB Business School with planning and developing their career during their studies and when entering their professional life. The Career Center supports employers in selecting young professionals.

Come to us, we will be glad to support you! For example, by helping you prepare your application documents, read job advertisements properly or answer questions about job interviews.

In the open office hours we will devote approx. 20 minutes to you. Please bring your application documents and, if applicable, job advertisements with you.

Job Portal

In the online Job Portal students and alumni of ESB Business School will find advertisements for internships, part-time jobs, theses and job vacancies in Germany and abroad. Students can register with their university email address free of charge.

We operate the Job Portal in close cooperation with the Alumni Association of ESB Business School, the ESB Reutlingen Alumni e.V..

Förderverein V.I.M.A e.V. (Friends‘ Association of ESB Business School)

Almost 50 renowned national and international companies are engaged in the Association for the Promotion of International Management Training (V.I.M.A e.V.). The association supports ESB Business School in many fields:

  • It enables and intensifies contacts between theory and practice for students and teachers. Many students make their first steps towards a career in the companies that are members of the V.I.M.A e.V.
  • It promotes the expansion of Bachelor and Master degree programmes with high practical relevance.
  • It supports knowledge transfer from university to industry, for example by the involvement of company representatives in teaching or the completion of company projects and case studies by students.

Career fairs

ESB Business School organises two career fairs in which over 80 companies take part every year.

Students of ESB Business School have the opportunity to get to know the companies and to establish direct contact to the company representatives on the fair stands. A unique chance because high-ranking company representatives come especially to ESB Business School in Reutlingen to meet our students.

A team of committed students organises the fairs together with the Career Center.

Workshops and Lectures

Every semester companies in cooperation with the Career Center offer many workshops, lectures and excursions. Students have the chance to take part, for example, in case studies, innovation workshops, business games and job application trainings. At these events they gather not only valuable experiences but also have the chance to meet and talk to company employees.  

Students of ESB Business School receive information about all events, their topics and conditions of participation by email, on notice boards and on the Events Schedules of the Career Center on the intranet.  


In our CV database and in the catalogue of graduates you will find the right talents for your job vacancies.

Before our two career fairs the students of ESB Business School have the opportunity to present their skills and experience in the database of the CV Portal. The companies contact interesting candidates directly and invite them, for example, to interviews during the company fairs on campus.

Students who will soon be graduating can register in the catalogue of graduates.


Reutlingen University supports students and graduates who want to start their own business. Do you have any questions related to entrepreneurship and self-employment? You will find initial information and contact persons on Reutlingen University’s website.
