Application deadlines and how to make an application

Partl-time studies can be started in the summer or winter semesters.

The summer semester starts at the beginning of March, the winter semester at the beginning of October.

Application deadline for the summer semester: 1^st December
Application deadline for the winter semester: 15^st  June 

Online applications for the summer semester cannot be done
before 15^st October, for the winter semester not before 15^st February.

An application involves a certain amount of paperwork, i.e. filling in the official application form.

The application form is available online: Online-Bewerbung.

The following documents must then be sent by post to the admissions office of the Reutlingen University:

• The printed out data sheet which appears after the online application has been entered, with signature and date. Important: if this data sheet is not sent to us by post, the online application is invalid.
• Certified copy of document providing evidence of right to study in higher education (e.g. the German "Abitur" or "Hochschulreife").
• Certified copy of final degree from undergraduate studies.
• Curriculum vitae (CV).

Please note:

• Your CV must be complete (no gaps) and signed.
• Copies of school and university graduation certificates must be officially certified.
• All school and university graduation certificates in languages other than German, English and French, must be translated into German and the concurrence of the translation with the original must be officially certified.
• All applicants from outside Germany must send evidence of their command of German.
