Ready for the world in seven semesters

Studying is not just something that happens in the lecture hall. You will also experience lectures and seminars in many practical and research facilities, such as simulation and business games, laboratories and in Werk150, the factory on campus.

Structure and content

You study for seven semesters; this includes an internship semester at a company as well as a period of study abroad of at least one semester. In the sixth semester, you can individually design part of your study content with a choice of elective subjects. In the seventh semester, you write your final thesis.

Core areas

You will acquire comprehensive skills in production management. After graduation, you will be able to analyse, design, manage and optimise technical and business systems.

In the 4th semester, you will complete an internship at a company (in Germany or abroad) and get to know industry in practice. In the following semester abroad at one of our partner universities, you will deepen your English language skills and intercultural abilities. The final semester includes your Bachelor's thesis (usually at a company in Germany or abroad). You will also apply your knowledge in company projects, business games and in our innovative factory test field, Werk 150.
