Application

You have decided to apply for the Internationales Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen - Operations (International Business and Engineering – Operations) degree programme?

Important note: Due to the rapid development of COVID-19, it is difficult to predict whether final school leaving exams will take place. We will inform you as soon as possible about what effects this will have on the application process and consequent cut-off deadlines at ESB Business School.

The following steps are necessary for the application and admissions process.

1.Read the admission requirements for the degree programme carefully.

Admission requirements

  • General or subject-related university entrance qualification, entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences or other, equivalent German or foreign university entrance qualification
  • Good English language skills (proficiency level at least B2 in accordance with the Council of Europe‘s “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages“  - CEFR), documented by the grade for English or a certificate (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate).
  • Foreign applicants with a university entrance qualification acquired abroad must submit their certificate in good time before their application to the Studienkolleg Konstanz for approval and conversion. Please note the deadlines of the Studienkolleg Konstanz. Further, with their application they must provide proof of their German language skills (e.g. TestDaF 14 or DSH 2).

German applicants or applicants treated as such can acquire bonus points using the following options and in this way increase their chances of obtaining a university place:

  • Proof of completed vocational training in a technically relevant occupational field or of a practical activity which provides information on the subject-specific aptitude.

With this bonus system you can improve your final grade and thus increase your chances of a university place.
