You have decided to apply for the International Management Master’s degree programme? The following steps are necessary for the application and admission process:  

1.Please read the following admission requirements for the degree programme carefully.

Admission requirements

  • First degree completed with 210 (3.5 years) or 180 (3 years) ECTS credits and a grade of at least 2.5 (German grading system)
    Applicants with 180 ECTS credits have to complete an integrated six-month internship. Relevant professional experience after the first degree may replace the compulsory internship.
    Graduates from the following disciplines may apply: Business management, economics. Furthermore, Graduates from non-business degree programmes may also apply provided they have taken at least 4 courses in business management, including two from the quantitative field (e.g. accountancy, finance management, economics, statistics, logistics).
  • At least six months professional experience (e.g. internships, professional activities after the first degree)
  • Very good English language skills (TOEFL 83 ibt or 220 cbt, or IELTS level 6.5 with minimum level 6 in each individual component)

2.Complete the online application form.

Apply via the degree programme’s website

Complete the application form, upload your curriculum vitae and transfer the fee of 50 €.

Application deadline:

For all links application date will be June 20th, acceptance by June 30th.
However, we recommend you apply as early as possible to increase your chances of obtaining a place on the programme.

The admissions committee will review your application. Generally, within two weeks you will receive a letter of acceptance or rejection provided you submit all the required documents.

3.If you receive notification of conditional acceptance, send all the required documents to the office of the degree programme.

To process your application we need the following documents:

  • Letter of motivation (250 to 750 words)
  • Degree certificate and final transcripts or provisional transcripts if not yet graduated
  • Results of TOEFL or IELTS test (these can be sent later if not yet completed)
  • Academic reference, issued by a professor or lecturer in business, as a pdf
  • Professional reference as a pdf

When all the documents have arrived and have been evaluated by the admissions committee, you will receive a formal study offer or rejection by email. 

4.If you receive notification of acceptance, accept the offered place by 30th June.

You have to accept the offered place by 30th June. Sign the offer and transfer the first instalment of € 1,000.
