It is still relatively quiet at Reutlingen University. For most new students, summer semester 2019 starts next Monday.

But the campus is already counting 71 new faces: For the first-semester students of the Bachelor International Business (IB), the lectures started yesterday, because the degree programme adapts to the semester periods of the international partner universities.

Argentina, Bolivia, Bosnia, Cameroon, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Egypt, El Salvador, Ghana, Greece, Iran, Korea, Moldova, Netherlands, Nigeria, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, USA and Vietnam: The new IB students come from 26 countries. Around 50 percent of the study places are awarded to international applicants in the completely English-taught bachelor's degree.

So that the newcomers can quickly find their way around campus and get into contact with one another, there is a diverse programme this week: information events, campus and library tours, get-togethers and parties organized by the Student Network.
