Prof. Dr. Martin Mocker in his new role as senior editor for MIS Quarterly Executive

By: Prof. Dr. Martin Mocker

ESB Business School professor of information systems Martin Mocker has been appointed as a senior editor for the journal Management Information Systems Quarterly Executive (MISQE).

The mission of MISQE is "to encourage practice-based research in information systems and to disseminate the results of that research in a manner that makes its relevance and utility readily apparent" - a great fit for the applied research focus of ESB Business School.

Established in 2002, MISQE is a peer-reviewed, VHB-Jourqual B-ranked journal - one of the few highly ranked journals with an explicit focus on a practitioner-audience.

Senior editors play a key role in the peer-review process of any journal as they lead the peer-review process for articles submitted to the journal.

Prof. Mocker has been appointed to the SE role following a track-record of practice-oriented publications in Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review and MISQE.
