Today, 73 young people start their studies at ESB Business School: For the Bachelor International Business (IB) students, the summer semester 2018 starts three weeks before the other programmes at Reutlingen University. IB thus adapts to the semester schedules of the international partner universities.

“Your learning goal: Problem solver in an international business context.” IB Programme Director Prof. Dr. Michel Charifzadeh welcomed the new students and talked about learning goals and contents of the IB programme. He addressed the new students in English, of course.

Belgium, Brazil, Ecuador, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia, USA, Vietnam: The first semester IB students come from more than 20 different countries. 50 percent of the study places are awarded to international applicants in this completely English-taught study programme.

So that the newcomers can quickly find their way around campus and get into contact with one another, there will be a diverse programme today and in the coming days: information events, campus and library tours, get-togethers and parties organized by the Student Network.
