On Thursday, February 7th the new MIM (Master International Management) students had the chance to get to know their new surrounding area by travelling to a world-renown chocolate producer – Ritter Sport and afterwards to the historic university city – Tübingen.

MIM alumnus Colin Dinkelacker (class of 2014/15) who is employed as a Consultant at Ritter Sport along with his colleague Torsten Schlegel, Sr. Consultant joined the group for lunch and shared their insights about the company and what Ritter Sport has to offer with regards to jobs, internships and additional opportunities. Afterwards, the group toured the chocolate display, viewed a film about the production plant and finally, stocked-up chocolate supply with a visit to the outlet shop.

The MIM group then travelled to Tübingen and enjoyed a humorous yet informative tour through the famous university city given by Californian Mr. Kent Lucas Ogden. Germans and international students alike were fascinated by the beauty and history this city has to offer.

After the tour the group was welcomed by a warm and cozy atmosphere at the Neckarmüller brewery and restaurant where the MIM students could thaw out their toes and satisfy their hunger and thirst with a large assortment of drinks accompanied by fresh pretzels, cheeses, dips and warm Flammkuchen (French-style thin pizzas). The evening was open-end.
