Doing Business in Afrika - Business Meets Science

Entering African markets – spotting opportunities and fulfilling potential.

The DBA Research Unit at the ESB Business School in cooperation with the Institute for Emerging Markets (IEM) at the IHK Reutlingen invites company representatives and economic experts to Reutlingen for the Doing Business in Africa – Business Meets Science conference.

The conference is unusual in bringing academics and directors together to provide input on operational issues and have a direct exchange.

With a top-class keynote and six programme modules – for instance on market entry, operational activities or China’s engagement in Africa – the conference offers a practical occasion for companies as well as networking opportunities. You can select two of the following programme modules.

  • "Understanding China in Africa: Implications for German Companies" by Dr. Simon Züfle (ESB Business School, Germany) and Jörn Seitz (Gauff, Germany)
