ESB International Staff Days 2025
Join our ESB International Staff Days - ’Empowering Minds, Embracing Change’! You’ll have the opportunity to engage with international colleagues, corporate partners and the ESB community, to share experiences, exchange ideas and foster innovation in international higher education.
Our five-day programme will encompass an interesting mix of expert workshops, presentations and focus groups along with an inspiring company visit. You will also discover the city of Reutlingen on foot, experience the vibrant ESB culture during our international campus day and, last but not least, get a taste of the local Swabian culture and cuisine.

Who: Colleagues from all functional areas at partner universities - academic and administrative staff, programme directors and coordinators, International Office, Student Services and Career Services staff, Quality Management, PR and Communications, etc.

Welcome to Reutlingen
Get to know the ESB Business School, the Reutlingen University campus and the historical city of Reutlingen. Discover our location in the economically strong federal state of Baden-Württemberg and enjoy a first taste of Swabian culture.
Expert Workshop: ’Empowering Minds, Embracing Change’
Join a series of expert talks and interactive sessions exploring this dynamic topic with speakers from academia and industry. The workshop is designed for a broad international audience. A detailed programme will follow shortly.
Evening: chocolART 2025 The international chocolate festival
End the day with a visit to chocolART in the medieval town of Tübingen – a celebration of chocolate in all its forms.
Networking – Focus Groups and International Campus Day
Engage with colleagues in focus groups to exchange ideas and share experiences on key topics in international education. Possible discussion areas may include: new international collaborative formats, student and staff mobility, AI in teaching, career services, student services, AI in teaching and more. Let us know which topics interest you most.
In the afternoon, connect with the ESB and Reutlingen University community at the International Campus Day.
Company Visit: Kärcher Headquarters, Winnenden
Visit the headquarters of the global leader in cleaning technology. Learn about the development of innovative cleaning robots and the company’s commitment to sustainability.
Afternoon/Evening: Esslingen Christmas Market and Kessler Sekt Cellar Tour
Experience the festive atmosphere of Esslingen’s medieval Christmas market. Conclude the evening with a guided tour of Germany’s oldest sparkling wine producer.
This event is free of charge for colleagues from partner universities of ESB Business School. Accommodation and travel expenses are to be paid by the participants. Please check if your home university can provide you with Erasmus+ funding for staff mobility.
We recommend that you arrive in Reutlingen on Sunday 30 November April and depart on Friday 4 December.
