Human resources management in practice and science – regionally networked

The network “human resources management in practice and science“ has been created to offer human resources managers in companies as well as teachers and researchers in human resources management at Reutlingen University a regional platform to enable a regular and practice-oriented exchange of opinions, experiences and knowledge among colleagues in a cohesive group. Current and future challenges for human resources management are discussed both from a practical and a scientific point of view.

The network’s members are human resources experts in executive positions in companies and research institutes in the NeckarAlb region as well as professors from Reutlingen University whose teaching and research areas are focused on human resources management, organisation and ethics.

Kick-off event: 6 June 2019, 3.30 to 6.30 pm on the campus of Reutlingen University.

The kick-off event begins with a keynote speech by Professor Dr Arjan Kozica on the topic “digital working environment“ and the presentation of his research project DigiTraIn 4.0, which is funded by the Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF). This will be followed by a panel discussion on the presented topic and network planning.

The network enables ...

  • ... a close regional network through direct personal contacts among the members and between practice and science
  • ... a compact overview of the challenges of a modern HR management and current trends
  • ... learning from one another and obtaining ideas for daily human resources activities by an exchange of experiences and a change in perspective
  • ... creating added value without too much effort through short distances, low costs and non—bureaucratic support

Come and join our network, we look forward to meeting you.
