The City

Raleigh is the capital city of the state of North Carolina.  With just under 500,00 inhabitants, Raleigh is known as the "City of Oaks" for its many oak trees, which line the streets. Raleigh is a fast growing city ranked as one of the top places to live in the United States. It is adjacent to Research Triangle Park (RTP) which is home to many global companies like IBM, Cisco, SAS, Glaxo SmithKline, Bayer, Google, Apple, and Microsoft, to name a few!

The University

North Carolina State University (NC State) is building a leading public research university that excels across disciplines. We are powerhouse in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
In addition, we also have an outstanding business school with approximately 4,500 students who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs in accounting, business administration, and economics. Our students graduate with a strong entrepreneurial and global mindset and the analytical skills needed in today's workplace.
