The City
Even though Winterthur is the sixth largest city of Switzerland it is very safe, student friendly and surrounded by green countryside. The city has a vibrant cultural scene and with its numerous restaurants, bars, clubs, movie theaters and sport activities, it offers all you need for a fulfiling semester abroad. Highlights of the city are the old town, the annual Christmas market and the “Albanifest”, which is Europe’s largest annual city festival.
