You have chosen the International Management Part-Time MBA programme and would now like to apply? The following steps are necessary to do so:

1.Read the registration requirements for the study programme carefully.

Registration requirements:

  • General or subject-related university entrance qualification
  • Completed university degree (usually at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)

    Graduates from foreign universities may be accepted if their degree is recognised in Germany by the Preparatory College (Studienkolleg) in Konstanz (Information from the Preparatory College (Studienkolleg) in Konstanz on foreign university entrance qualifications)
    Please note the deadlines of Studienkolleg Konstanz.

    The degree programme is open in principle to graduates from all disciplines. However, an MBA is designed primarily for non-economists; especially graduates from technical or scientific disciplines such as engineers, computer scientists, physicians, linguists or humanists as well as lawyers are the priority target group of the degree programme.
  • At least two years professional experience after gaining your first degree
  • Very good German and English language skills. Proof of language skills English: TOEFEL, IELTS, Cambridge language tests level B2. German: TEST DaF-14 or DSH test level B2.

    As part of our cooperation with Vivat Lingua, you can take the language exam for the winter semester 2019/20 by 19.07.2019 at the latest. For the summer semester 2020, the 11.02.2020 is the last possible date, so that the examination results will be available in time for enrolment. Please note that there may be costs for an accelerated correction.

Particularly suitable applicants are those who have already had sufficient professional experience to orient their career towards comprehensive management skills. The course is aimed at managers and high potentials who are operating or wish to operate in international business fields. 

We expect a clear career concept and high motivation from the applicants.

2.Fill in the online registration form for the aptitude test.

By completing the questionnaire early you open up a time window for yourself and us for possible questions and/or handing in documents later. After you have handed in the questionnaire we will contact you soon regarding an appointment for the aptitude test, provided you meet the admission requirements.

3.Participation in the aptitude test.

Passing the aptitude test is an admission requirement for enrolling in the study programme.  

The half-hour aptitude test is held in the form of an assessment interview. Appointments for the aptitude test are possible at any time. On request, this can also be arranged using Skype. Please contact us regarding this.

After passing the aptitude test you will receive written confirmation of passing within 14 days.

4.Use the online form for enrolment at Reutlingen University.

Notice: Although the word “application“ is used in the linked portal, these steps lead directly to the application for enrolment. This can only be fully completed if you have passed the aptitude test (see point 4) and have uploaded appropriate evidence of this.

5.Complete your application and send the application for enrolment with all the documents in due time by post to Reutlingen University.

Please note that after completing the online application for enrolment you can no longer make any changes via the portal in the application for enrolment. For this reason do not renounce the study place online in order to make corrections but please contact the admissions and enrolment office of the university. 

After concluding the online application, print your application for enrolment , sign and send it together with all the necessary documents in due to time by post to:

Enrolment deadlines:
Start of studies for summer semester (March - August): 28/29 February
Start of studies for winter semester (September - February): 15 September
Applications are possible up to these dates if you have suffiecient proof of your language skills.

6.Payment of semester fees and submission of additional documents.

Once your application has been accepted and documents submitted you will receive a notification of fees and a list of any missing supporting documents . Please transfer the semester fees and send any further documents to the admissions office by the enrolment deadline at the latest (see point 5). The documents must have arrived at the university by these deadlines, the date of posting will not be taken as proof.
