The City

Lancaster is a historic city in the North West of England, at the heart of Great Britain. It's a friendly city with lots to explore and enjoy and a great base from which to explore the rest of the UK including the nearby Lake District. The city boasts a thriving cultural scene and a wide range of shops. Lancaster is also well connected and easy to get to, just 1 hour from Manchester or Liverpool or 2.5 hours from London, Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The University

Lancaster University campus occupies a beautiful 560-acre parkland site, just outside the city centre. Lancaster is proud to be one of only a small number of collegiate universities in the UK. The University's nine colleges each provide students with small close-knit communities and a "home from home". Each college has its own identity, accommodation, elected student representatives, social scene and facilities.

Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is one of the longest-established business schools in the UK and home to a thriving and truly international community, welcoming students and staff from more than 180 countries.
