Digital Hub Neckar-Alb and Sigmaringen

The Digital Hub Neckar-Alb and Sigmaringen is a regional contact point for small and medium-sized enterprises from all sectors with questions about digitisation

The Digital Hub Neckar-Alb and Sigmaringen helps companies and start-ups from all sectors to face the challenges of digitisation. The aim of this hub is to network digitisation actors from different economic sectors, research and public administration, to highlight existing digitision activities in the region and to create new, targeted offers for SMEs.

The project is managed under the leadership of the Reutlingen Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with Reutlingen and Albstadt-Sigmaringen Universities, the Zollernalb and Tübingen districts as well as other regional supporters.

The focus of Reutlingen University here is on digitisation in the field of production and logistics. Both the public and the students are informed about the digitisation processes and innovative technologies. In addition, SMEs are supported in their "digital transformation" by the following offers:

Initial consultation to identify digitisation potential

Within the framework of an initial consultation we would like to support the companies on their way to digital transformation in the field of production and logistics. The Digital Hub is therefore offering SMEs in the Neckar-Alb & Sigmaringen region face-to-face or online consultations on the following issues:

  • Initial consultation to identify digitisation potentials in production and logistics along the value chain.

  • Initial consultation to define and develop an existing digitisation idea with the aim of reviewing existing digitisation plans in the field of production and logistics, developing them as necessary and identifying possible funding opportunities.

  • Consultations can also be conducted online via video conference.

The initial consultation provides the companies with the following benefits:

  1. During the initial consultation a non-binding expert's view of the potential digitisation opportunities for the company regarding the further development of production and logistics is given.

  2. As part of the initial consultation, the staff expenses incurred for the Digital Hub Project are subsidised by the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Employment and Tourism Baden-Württemberg. The companies only incur the costs for their own expenses.
