LOPEC

The EU-funded project LOPEC (Logistics Personal Excellence by continuous Self-Assessment) was successfully completed in September 2014 after a period of two years.

LOPEC transfers a software solution for imparting LEAN logistics know-how as well as the necessary basic knowledge for specialists in the corporate, further and advanced education environment from science to practice. The system is complemented by a new method for self-assessment of "personal excellence".

In the LOPEC project, supporting materials for knowledge transfer were developed. These are intended to close the gap between secondary and tertiary education for professionals in the field of logistics. In addition, the materials are to support the introduction of the personal excellence data with the goal of lifelong learning.

Since project completion at the end of 2014, a comprehensive system for "lifelong learning with the goal of personal logistics excellence" has been available.

The project was funded within the framework of the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme the European Union, Transfer of Innovation for Vocational Training.

This project was funded with support from the European Commission. This publication reflects the views only of the author, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.
